1. If we apply dc supply to the
primary winding
of transformer it will be burnt out.
similarly dc
supply is given to field winding of
syn. motor
and armature winding of dc motor,
they are
safe. (Remember both windings
inductive nature) what is the reason
behind that?

because dc has no frequency so that it can't produced inductance than transformer get heated and burn but dc have megnatic proparty so that motor works in dc.

dc motor is protected by back emf
and syn.
motor is protected by self induced
emf. ( for
low voltage of dc supply transformer
is also safe
because there is also self induced
emf is
produced )

i have 3500 amp load and select current transformer and perches.how i calculate .please understand
Does increase or decrease of reactive load affects the Voltage.
we have two 11/.433 kv. distribution Transformer rating as 1000 kva & 500 kva , i wants to run parallel both transformer. both transformer impendence voltage is 5.24%, How can we run both t/f, & how sharing the load
what will happen when two dc motors are connected to each other and anyone of them rotated?
