HOW TO CONNECT THREE PHASE OVER LOAD RELAY FOR SINGLE PHASE..

three phase over laod relay can also be used for single
phase also. In this case, three overload relays shall be
wired in series with single phase circuit. The current
flowing through this relays will be detected whenver over
current flows and trip the breaker.

In Three Phase relay Three terminals are there , use two
terminals in series with phase and one terminal for
Netural . Why we are connecting like these because balance
current will flow in the relay, then only if any fault(
O/L, E/L) occur it will trip
