blackout means electric power failure completely in any plant. due to this all equipments become stand still as it is position.

when TG breaker and GRD breaker...both get
open due to any fault...external or
internal...this condition is called black out.

I am opertaing generators which are beyond 14000hrs and now the fuel consumption is about 2kw per liter of diesel. The engines are due for overhauling. is this normal
