At this condition, Pole discripency trips the Before breaker or previews breaker so that mechanical person can short out the pole mechanism problem because power isolated.

it is due to mechanical problem
if one pole does not open possibility of heavy arching,for
that reason only AB switches provided on both side of the
breaker
