In your case the the ups having low battery storage.....thas why it unable to deliver the o/p to CFL lamp also...If u saw in inverters in home those a having 12V DC SMF batteries. those can give the o/p and the AH rating in those batteries are very high compared to PC UPS.....If want to upgrade buy an 1.5KVA Inverter with having 12V DC batteries if 2nos connected in series and those output power cab set to one small Distribution board, From that DB to lay a circuit wiring to 6/16A socket it will give the back up very well and you can also use both emergency lighting and uninterupted power to PC also......

if dc excitation is used to produce manetic flux in rotating machines then ehy it is not used in transformers.

My switchgear busbar is rated at 2000A and just imagine the actual load on busbar is 1000A. From that busbar there are 10 outgoing feeders. Now the question is will the load be 1000A on each outgoing feeder or 100A per outgoing feeder. 2nd thing how do i calculate the load on individual feeder. Thanks for your time. Please provide some clarification on this issue.
