As such values mentioned above are not same for all
transformers. Because Insulation resistance consist of
summation of resistance value for composite dielectric. i.e
dielectric consist of paper, oil, metal part, wooden
barriers etc which can be considered as several
capacitances in series.
Point here is we have to find out polarisation index
PI = Megger value after 10 mins / Megger value after 1 min.
PI as a normal practice and also mentioned in some
technical papers should be more than 1.3
Considering PI we can judge measured Insulation resistance
values of insulation.

How we calculat the NGR of 3phase Generator, Our generation voltage 11KV
We are having a 2000KVA DG set. It trips with Over speed and Engne Hot when the mahine is stopped in full speed. How shall I analyse the block load and reverse power. Is the problem related to power factor. The machine which runs on this DG is having all Synchronous motors with incividual Drives.
what is the difference in operation of 3 phase motor when am forward delta connection and reverse delta connection?
1. The DC generaror,s induced output emf is connected with a DC motor(as load). when increasing the load of the motor by using brake drum or any way. what are the parameters will changes in both motor and generator(voltage, current, resistance, frequency, speed, torque, power, flux etc...) 2. Similarly for AC generator and AC motor 3. similarly if using DC batteries instead of DC generator, What happens?
