because the losses are (core loss and copper loss )depend on
voltage and current that's mean VI and [ current I is give
by Amp.] so we can say KVA and K is constant which value is
1000volt

The transformer of total input energy are KVA and output
power are less than input power. The transformer in copper
loss, iron loss and power loss of total energy are equal to
the input energy KVA.The transformer winding turn ratio are
depend as the input and output voltage, and winding coil
diameter are depend as the current. The transformer winding
are depend as the voltage and current.

transformer are highly efficient device .around 95 to 98 %
efficiency, they doesn't depend upon power factor .. means
they can supply rated volage and current at any type of
load...so thy are in VA or kva ...... here k means not
constant friends... it is kilo....

Transformer efficeincy depends on losses that means core losses are variable losses its depends on load and constant losses are iron losser it wil varying depends on voltage. So tranf design considering depends on both of current and voltage, frequentcy costant.

because when we use transformer frequency and poewr is
constant from primary to secondary and voltage(=Unit Volt) and
current(=Unit Ampere) are change as per requrement,
So the Rating Of Transformer Are Used In kVA

Because transformer rating depend on load (resist.,
inductive , capacitive) if transformer feed to resistive
load at unit PF. Then there rating is VX I X1=?
If feed to inductive load for e.g. PF .85 Then there
rating is VX I X.85., that’s why its rated at KVA, where k
is constant i.e. 1000.
