in thermal power plants we use condenser for the purpose of
cooling the exhausted steam coming from the turbine.

in a thermal power plant is must needed because there is no device that transfer steam from one place to another...there is only way to recycle it after cooling the steam to water and transfer/recycle water through a pump.

why voltage coil in wattmeter called as pressure coil why the pressure term is used in wattmeter?
Why do we have 110V, 230V, 415V etc. in electrical transmissions? Why not 100V, 200V,400V?
at meter room 50 hrc switch installed,but there are not get earthing proper,so what happen?and 11kv transformer out put going in to hrc main 400a three nog each? so earthing is require for all switch? (some customer made earthing at there home.)
