i=p/root 3vcos phai(angle) for any three phase induction motor.
i=p/vcos phai(angle) for any single phase induction motor.

KW rating is power. for a 3phase supply voltage is 415v. so
current of a motor is given by KW by voltage. for a 1phase
supply,current is given by KW by 230volts.

Current = 2 x KW for three phase or 1.5 x HP
