Suppose a force is applied on a body which is acting at a
point other than the fixed point then the moment will be
force multiplied by perpendicular distance with respect to
fixed point, then the body will tends to bend So, now we
can define the bending moment.
We can defined as the algebraic sum of the moments of all
the force acting over the structural element on either side
(left or right) of the section considered.
