Please tell me the formulaes while designing a substation for power Calculations in designing a 33 KV Substation?????
If any HVDC line is going with positive & negative(the negative usually have return path of current with earthing electrode). Now the question is if this HVDC earthed electrode which is using as return path and earthed any nearby 400kv or 220kv AC substation equipments. which will be the impact of this on AC substation & its equipment, how severe may be this and what should be the minimum distance require between HVDC earthed electrode and AC substation equipments? It's really an high engineering level question...Dare to answer and increase your knowledge.

how we can come to know that motor winding resistance which showing by DMM is right or wrong???is there any chart or something that we will compare & check???
60 watts bulb and resistor home heater is connected in series and 230v is given to the circuit. The heater is giving some amount of heat. If instant of 60 watts bulb replace 100 watts bulb what will be the output of the heater?
If I want to use capacitor banks at HT (11 KV) side for maintaining power factor then which type of capacitor should I use? Plz give me the specification?? (I am using 1250 Kva transformer (11 KV/433V)).
what is the difference between the 94 lockout relay and 86 lock out relay. I have noticed that the 94 lockout relay is activated when the distance realy is activated and 86 is activated when the 87T differential is activated. but why can't the same lockouts be used for both the protection schemes
