Bcoz our heart is on left side. So if shortckt or any accident is there then it will not affects directly to heart. So its made standard rule that phase is always on right side.

1. answer wrong if u place ur phase on left side, right hand person will touch the phase with his right hand only so wherever the heart is in left side the same result.
2.answer wrong some people use left hand probably.
3. all are following the standard rule if we change if will cause difficuly so we follow the standard rule nothing behind this
