How can we calculate C10 rating of a bttery from c5 or c20
ratings??
Answer / mohandas
A 100AH battery when fully charged will be discharged at a rate of 5 Amps when it is at C20 rating.
Similarly at C10 rating the battery will be discharged at a discharge rate of 10 Amps when it is at C10 rating.
It will be the same way when the battery is being charged. At C 20 rating the battery will take 20 hrs to get fully charged at a charging current of 5 Amps.
However, these are theoretical assumptions and could vary with life of the battery.
