For this issue take a water tank on which our Level
Transmitter is measuring level in meters Or any required
unit but generally 4 to 20 mA --> 0 to 100 % . Now we can
set 90% as HIGH and 95% as HIGH HIGH . Through by means of
proper alarm setting we can automate our process
comfortably . Alarm priorities depend on the process
requirement. In this process as HIGH alarm blinks that
gives just a warning, But HIGH HIGH alarm blinks that will
need to close the inlet of water tank to avoid overflow.

Alarm should be generated for all the values which distrub
you process & alarm should be set at such a value that
operator get time to take corrective action.
alarm which hamper ur process,safety or equipment badly
should be given high priority.

Why does a pressure gauge installed on reactor, doesn't have any vent line below to release the pressure? Is it any kind of designing mistake or it actually does not require any vent line?
