Short circuit levelof the system defines its mechanical
strength to bear the enormour fources and heat developed by
short circuit current. To revamp a systm from 40 KA to 50
KA capacity, more no. of insulator suppors are required
along with increase in busbar current carrying capacity.

Which power will flow first if we switch on a motor? Active or Reactive? How?
what sis the testing procedure of transformer and ht panel?
In alternator generally we give DC voltage to field of alternator but field (excitor)produce Ac & converts into DC by rotating rectifier(RR ) then fed to rotor .my question is why we cannot give dc voltage directly to rotor instead of Excitor & RR ?
How can we calculate the current if we have load in KVA and if the load in KW then what formula will be use for calculating the current. please give both the formula for calculating the current.
What do you mean by distribution transformers?
I have 2500KVA transformer delta/star,13.8KV/380V provided with LV 4000A breaker. Already I have 2300KW motor feeder with a full load 90%. Is it possible to connect another 1600A from that breaker? If so how the calculation is done?
what is the difference between electrical wire and electrical conductor?
diffrence between windings of high tension side and low tension side of transformer
what is the equation of insulating resistance of motor???
5- What is the task (function) of the excitation and isolation transformers in power plant? 6- What is the task (function) of LCI (A), LCI (B) and LCI (COS) in power plant? : LCI (A) and LCI(B) are load commutating inverter for generator turbine starting. , LCI (COS) is load commutating inverter change over switch
