How can we calculate the current if we have load in KVA and if
the load in KW then what formula will be use for calculating
the current. please give both the formula for calculating the
current.

For KVA rating,
The formula for determine the current is:
I = KVA/(1.732 x Voltage) (For three phase system)
I = KVA/Voltage (For Single Phase)
For KW rating
The Formula for current is
I= KW/(1.732 x Voltage x Power factor)(for three phase system)
I = KW/(Voltage X Power factor)(For Single Phase)

If there is three phase system formula for the
KW = 1000.root3 VA cos Phi.
KVA = 1000 VA
V =Voltage A = Ampere.

For KVA rating, the formuler for current will be:
I = KVA/(0.707 x Voltage) for three phase system
For KW rating
I= KW/(0.707 x Voltage x cos phi)
for three phase system

Why we transmit the power at the voltage in the multiple of 11 or 1.1 like 11kv, 22kv, 66kv, 132kv...... some one told me that it is due to fomr factor 1.1 of sine wave. its fine but while transforming we can choose any voltage, so why only multiple of 1.1 there also.......? plz tell me.
