LOV means List Of Values,that means it is a file that
contains distinct values of that column in the database.
We can see the list of values,syntax:doubleclick on
dimenction object->edit properties window open->go to
properties tab->Enable Associate a list of values->In the
list box we can see the LOV value.

Lov means List of values.lov nothing but distinct of the particular object.we can also pass the personal lov values for particular object.
We can see lov values for object.Go to the Structural pan then select object.double click on selected object.u got then edit object pane.select then properties tab.in this tab Enable the "Associate a list of value" radio button.then click on Dislay button.it display then lov values.

LOV is 'List of Values' which can be used in parameters to select the user input from.
For example, in a country parameter - list of countries would be called as LOV 9list of values).
