What does a permanent magnet generator do?
Answer / arfan bhutto
The PMG provides power for the excitation of the exciter
field through automatic voltage regulator (AVR).
As PMG rotates, magnatism produces AC voltages.this AC
voltages given to AVR.
The output of AVR is DC voltages.
