Yes Global catalog improves performance of users query in
multidomain/ Exchange environment. Where in multidomain
environment users query to GC do not makes further referal
to different domain increasing response time. In Exchange
environment Glogal catalog is heavily utilized during
searching users in GAL. So having multiple GC will help in
multidomain and Exchange environment.
