A Interrupt is a condition that causes the microprocessor
to work on a different task and then later on return to its
previous task. It is of two types
1.Internal or software Interrupt
2.External or hardware Interrupt

to break the sequence of operation. while the cpu is
executing a program, an 'interrupt' breaks the normal
sequence of execution of instructions & diverts into some
other program called Interrupt Service Routine(ISR).After
executing ISR the control is transfered back again to the
main program which was being executed at the time of
interruption.

when an higher priority task is in queue,the process of low priority task will be interrupted by enabling the IF flag to 1 and high priority task is executed first this is done with the help of interrupt flag
