What is the quantit;(pratical method) of cement, sand, and gravel to be used in M25 grade of c..

Answer / raju goyal

Basically M25 is the design mix grade. So we don't know what is the proportion of mix.
As per thumb rule it's 1cement:1sand :2 aggregate. For dry quantity it's 135% more of it's casted quantity.
Therefore dry material quantity will be found as given below formula of 1 Cum.
1 Cement = (1.35÷sum of proportion) e.i.
1. Cement =(1.35÷4)=0.3375 Cum or 10 bags
2. Sand. = 0.3375×1=0.3375 Cum
3. Aggregate=0.3375 ×2=0.675 Cum.
