Cubes can be built by running the powerplay transformer
model (.mdl file). We need to define the dimensions and
measures in the transformer model, need to mention the
sources (.iqd file, .xls file etc.) and need to provide the
cube name and path. Then we can build it manually as well
as it can be built using any third party scheduling tools.

for cube creation following are the importent steps
1.Prepare a data source for cognos transformer
2.Prepare dimensions in dimension map
3.prepare measures in measures pane
4.set propertys to dimensions
5.set data formate for measures
6.create a new cube in power cube pane
7.set propertys to that cube
8.generate categorys and compare them with datasource
9.publish cube in cognos server

I have ten columns that needs to be totalled... but some columns are empty...how do i get sum all the columns even if sum are empty? Can i get a total of the rows instead of columns? if yes, what is the function to be used?
