What is the better way of passing 400 amp from sending end
to receiving end ? By overhead line or underground cable
and why ? if underground cable then how much depth require ?

when we r using 3.5 cable for a bldg. and put laod on each phase using the neutral and neutral is the return paht for the phase so the current of the neutral must be Ir+Ib+iY (return).But the size of the netural is .5 as comper to the phase.

the input mechanical power of a single alternator is increased,its RPM increased but in case of an alternator synchronised with grid its RPM does not increased with increase of input mechanical power. why?
