Two alternators say 1 & 2 are poised to parallel operation.
But at the time of paralleing alternator 2 gets out of the
system by tripping Earth fault relay. Please send me reply
why this is happening?

The answer depends on the following parameters: 1. At which
point the two generating systems are earthed, 2. Is there a
neutral isolation for the second generator, 3. how the
earth fault sensing element is connected- by 3 phase CT
forming residual circuit or direct measurement placing the
CT between generator star point and earth, 4. what is the %
setting for earth fault protection and what delay is
setted.

In addition to the above answer, what type of earthing is
provided for both the generators also matters. Secondly, if
it is NGR, which NGR is closed, or both are closed.
