Well, transducer convert the physical parameter like
PRESSURE,LEVEL,TEMPERATURE & FLOW etc, to an electrical
signal that can be used for the purpose of moitioring or
control further signal conditioning is required.
converter in process drawing & P&ID drawing we refer to it
as I/P OR P/I converter current to pressure or pressure to
current.more or less converter & tranducer sound the same.

Pretty much the same thing since both convert one type of
energy into a proportional different type of energy. Like
the pressure cell inside a pressure transmitter which we
call a transducer or sensor and a I/P converter which we
call a converter. Other examples are a analog to digital
converters or the sensors in a car's engine which are also
called transducers since they are stand alone and their
transmitters or monitors are in a different place.
Good luck

transuducer is device which is going to sense the physical
parameter of the process like temp, flow, level, pressure, and
ets and convert to electrical signal which is propotional
to PV and this is primary sensing device of transmitter and
this electrical siganal is given to the secandry sensing
device which is electronic part of tranmitter which is
further condition and amplify the siganal which is required
for further for the purpose of monitoring and indication.
convertor is going to convert ac to dc ,I/P,P/I

Converter means change the 1 signal from a same medium.
Eg: Analog to Digital
And tranduser means change the signal from a different
medium likes electric signal to pneumatic signal (I/P)

What is instrumentation measurement?
A DP transmitter is used to measure the level of an open tank. The drain line of the tank is connected to a control valve, and is configured as, if the level of the tank is 90% the valve should get open 10%. And if the tank level is 10%, the valve should get open 90%. Draw wiring diagram and explain how to configure DP transmitter and control valve using HART communicator. If the span error at output is 1%, what will be the %opening of the control valve at 60% level of the tank?
