there are many losses in i.c. Engines. Frictinal losses , heat transfer losses, losses due to cooling systems, evaporative losses & other unaccounted losses. Some losses can nt b eliminated but can b reduced upto limited extent.

does the design & fittings vary on the type of the vehicle engine.. why they use petrol for engines only & vice versa..
