i am doing my mba final year my specialization is hr and
finance . my aim is to start a business . the interviewer
asked me why u didnot opt for marketing if ur aim is to
start business . my question is can't a hr person start a
business if his specialization is not marketing

yes,definitely one can start one's own business with any specialisation.Eg you can start your recruitment organisation with the sole purpose of serving other companies,i.e hiring for others.Indeed there are plenty of companies just hiring people as per the clients specifications..
