Super elevation are provided mainly in a curve surface.
Drainage is the not main cause.In super elevation the outer
edge of the road is raised in respect to inner
edge.Drainage are provided for water flow. so road are
slope in respect to drain so that water can easily flow.
No super elevation are provided for drainage.

of centrifugal forces at curves to avoid skiding

superelevation is provided at curves to compensate the forces generated on moving object while it is turning ....otherwise the moving object has to slow down its speed in worst case the moving object may skid or even topple...super elevation on curves helps the moving object turn along the curve without reducing speed
drainage has no connection with superelevation ...for drainage part ,cross drainages along the road r provided
