7 8389my 10 hp submersible pump is tripping when connected through ELCB.I have checked the megger value of the coil's with body.It was found to be 0.2mega ohm.that is leakage is there.But when connected to mccb it is not tripping.no leakage current in the motor.Is it safe to connect to mccb? what are the problem's will arise if future?also tell me in ELCB no neutral is connected to motor.than how ELCB was working?

BUT AS WE INCREASE VOLTAGE FROM 450 TO 480V, LOAD BECOME 41 AND SPEED REDUCED TO SOME RPM . SO WHICH PHENOMENON ACTED HERE FOR REDUCING SPEED.?? AND IS IT HAPPENING ALWAYS OR IT IS RARE? In our factory so many iron pillors are exists for supporting the shed/Hangar. If do more no of earthings at one piller instead of doing more earth pits in many locations and running earth strip around the hanger, I can save the money. Please suggest this method is acceptable as per Is specifications though the Earth resitance of the farthest piller is with in the limits as per IS specifications.
