synchronizing is making phase, voltage & frequency the same
or with small difference between generators.

paralleling is sharing the load among all this generators.

so synchronizing is done before closing the ckt breaker but
after closing it parlleling process starts and all above
mentioned parametrs stuck together.

Synchronization (in the context of electrical engineering)
is the process of attaining exact co-ordination(Relative
should be zero) between two or more, similar time varying
quantitites.The quantities involved must has same rate of
change.Synchronization is a global concept(exists through
out the system).

Paralleling is the process of placing more than one systems
aganist same condition to achieve common goal.In some cases
(parallel operation of alternators,parallel operation of
transformers etc.)synchronizion is must for paralleling
where as in some cases(Paralleling loads across a supply
etc.) in is not must for loads to be synchronized.
Paralleling is a local concept(Prevaling at few places and
these places are independent with each other)

parlleling and sychronization are very similar that when two
generators are in sychronization or running simultaneously

Dear sir, my knowledge about cable size determination is limited. Though I read examples I could not calculate the Cable size required for electric driven pump 40 KW, 380 Volt, 50 HZ, 50 meter from transformer and it is three phase star delta starting. Please help as there is no one in my surroundings to help.

Please clarify, 1. Is it required to lay two runs of GI wire along with Armoured LT cable if it is laid between one big mains (63Amps TPN SDF) to small main (32A TPN SDF) with proper glanding termination? 2. If the armoured cable with proper glanding is laid from DB to CNC machine, is it required to run two runs of body earthing to the Machine from DB? 3.If the armoured cable with proper glanding is laid from Substation to Hangar, distance is approx. 100 mtrs, is it required to do earthing at shop area though the primary termination at substation is earthed through gland.
