Transformer is a static device to transver power from one
range to another range without any change of freuency.
while generating power they are producing 11kv and then
they used to transmitt upto 400kv through transmission
lines without transformers we cant change the voltage
levels when were are transmitting without any change of
voltage levels losses will be very high higher the voltage
lesser the current IRsquare losses will be less low voltage
transmission and high current means losses will be high
trhats what we are in need of transformers

Transformer is a device which transmits the energy from one
circuit to another without change frequency.
It can be used for continuous power transmission with
reducing the energy losses.
The power can be step down or step up by transformer for
our need
