if i change range of flow transmitter in th field then does it need to change range in dcs?..

Answer / murali -inst.technologist

if range of transmitter changes in field you have to change
the span of the AI in dcs
other wise
transmitter shows correct reading in field side
but dcs get signal in form of 4-20 ma, then flow reading
shows in DCS is as per old DCS span.

old range:

o - 625 "wc means 4ma at 0, 20 ma at 625

new range:

0 - 2500 "wc means 4 ma at 0, 20 ma at 2500
