In power point wiring, often,we use less size of earth wire
compared to phase & neutral wire and we use big size pin in
pug top. how is it justified? can we use small size cable
for earthing?

We use big size pin and socket for power point to reduce
resistance in earth pat and to alway connect earthing first
to equipment before connecting mains and neutal in system.
Using low size cable for earthing in single phase can not
be justified, we have to use same size cable for neutral,
eathing and mains.
In three phase we can use lower size cable for earthing and
neutral.

as we know from R =pl\A bigger the size of area lesser the
resistance of conductor...so b using this concept earth pin
provides less resistance to leakage current compared to
other two pin hence leakage current by pass to earth without
damagng appliances..
thats all thank you

The reason of earth point in bigger than that others to
save the equipments from leakage current. It means, the
system will be earthed before connecting to the power
supply. Ultimately, if there is any leakage current, it
would bypassed through earth so equipment will be safe.
