1 kg of cotton is heavier than
Iron... As cotton occupied more
space and displaced more air so
upthrust force on cotton is more
than iron.. So to make 1 kg of
cotton in actual more than 1 kg of
cotton is used to counter balance
the upthrust force...

If you measure them we will fill exact same weight. But cotton will occupy more volume in that condition when both are of same 1 kg.

generally weight is product of mass*g
but mass=volume *density.iron is more densed,and cotton
occupies more volume .so both will get cancelled.so both
will have the same weight.
