mcb will protect you system against overload & short circiut.
because it is having thermomegnatic strip it will open the
contact when current exeeding his normal alue.

but

isolater is one switch only. you can operate when you want
break the power of your system in maintenance or for the
other work

in short mcb will trip automatically and protect your system
& isolater is operated manually.
