Current was not circulate in transformer core magnetic flux does. But if you try to say eddy current then there was insulation b/w every strip of core plate which despite it into heat.

why the earth pin is thicker than other pins in a plug? If it is for reducing resistance, then why the copper earth wire is not so thick as earth pin of socket?
