In dc motor starter there is less voltage required for holding contactor that's may why it is called no volt coil. but in ac starter why holding contactor is called no volt coil.
Generally we denote power in 'p',voltage in 'v'but why can't we denote current in 'c' instead of I.
When charging a 20 MVA , 33kV/6.6kV transformer through regulated (0-6.6 kV or 0-33 kV) source on no load , what will be the maximum current drawn by transformer from source and what sould be the source capacity.
how to select the automotive wire size by mathematical calculation. for xenon headlamp with ballast. the ballast given data voltage 10-17v,current permenant 6amp, run up phase is 15amp, peak at swicth on max 400micro sec is 40amp.the sum of cable resistance is 150mohm.please provide referenc document if any for relating the peak at switch on current, time & wire wire size
