What happens if fuse is connected to neutral wire
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
The main Use of the Fuse is in case of short circuit or any malfunction, circuit has to be isolate. in this case if fuse connect in nutral the fuse get burn, but ciruit not isolate from phase still supply will be till nutral where our fuse broke. It is not safe at all.Due to this purpose only we r keeping always fuse in phase line.

when we get shocked or when anything is short circuited..the return path may or may not be neutral so the current in neutral may be high depending upon return path..so if short circuit occur due to earthing neutral current is low and fuse will not blown.
2 if we get neutral get out , by blown of fuse.still live wire is in network which is very dangerous.thats 2 reason why we don't put fuse in neutral

A Current higher than the Fuse Rating is needed for the Fuse to operate.
If there is a short circuit fault to earth, the Current will bypass Neutral wire(NO Current is going to flow through the neutral wire).
So fuse should not be installed on neutral wire or it would not operate.

In a neutral flows however fuse is prevention fo exccessive amount of currents if fuse connected to neutral the high will exist fuse is not break because of the phase wire supply for appliances and ampliances are destroyed

we are using only links in nutrol why not use in
fuse ,supose earth fault affect in cicuite line fuse not
blown, its very danger.if nutrol fuse blown out, line fuse
not blown out,the circuite is live its very danger.

rather than providing fuse
if we want protection, we can have 4 pole MCB for R Y B N
this will disconnect line as well as neutral at the same
time.

if any short circuit occurs the load will collect the more current from supply if there is no fuse in phase higher current will flow through the load

what's the diff bw live wire and neutral wire?
After all they are only connecting wires in the circuit,
The live wire feeds the circuit and the neutral (or return)
wire completes the circuit by providing a return path to
the source.
Neutral is grounded to earth, as result you won't get
shocked because the potential difference between your feet
and the earth is very small.
If v connect the Fuse in Neutral then in case of any fault
it will blow off at the end..Thier is No Use..

if you connect fuse in neutral if fuse blows then entire
single phase will get ph to ph voltage and burn it
