ACB- AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER
MCCB-Moulded case circuit breaker
Quenching media is same for both
Protection features which consumer can set will available
with acb i.e o/c,o/c time,sc amps,sc current interrupt time
and ground fault limitings
and lost and most,
short circuit limiting capability Isc is more with acb
selection of acb/mccb depends upon device, fault
level, application and economical calculation since cost
diff is most considerable here

ACB-Air Circuit Breaker ,MCCB-Moulded Case Circuit Breaker.
ACB using for higher current ratings and MCCB using for
lower current ratings.
ACB works under voltage as well as over current,But MCCB
will not works Under voltage.Only over current(new mccb
having under voltage fecility also through closing coil
intrudusing)

air circuit breaker is use to open and close the circuit at normal and fault conditions
but motor control circuit board is used to control the motor current at starting and running conditions and also phase transformation like star to delta and delta to star connection
that is the basic deffence
