To improve the range of communication by preventing the
signal getting distorted. and for providing security.

retrieving the original information i.e.,security based and
at the receiver side the code is converted to original
information

1)Use same same frequency and time repetedly by changing
coding technique.
2)For security purpose.
3)To minimize distortion of signal,crosstalk etc.
4)To increase capacity.
