Tell me harmfull effects of over voltage, under voltage, spike, surge, transient & noise...

Answer / haricharan.nannam

over voltage:1.it saturates the core.in order to magnetise
the iron beyond its rated value more current flows as a
result more heat generates inthe motor which shortens life
of motor.
low voltages:P=v*i.if v is low ,i automatically increases
to maintain p constant.as a result i increases which
increases heat and shortens the life of motor.2.the
starting capacity of motor will getsreduced.see
