Can VFD step up to 60 Hz if it is designed to receive 50 Hz input?..

Deffinetly VFD can step up 60Hz with the given 50Hz or any
other rated input frequency. But the motor wich is driven
by that VFD shoud be raed for such high speeds or
frequencies.

VFD is designed to give a out put frequency of 1Hz to 600
Hz but our connected load has to with stand.

In our plant we are running the german motor name plate RPM
1775 at 60Hz but we are running the same at 87Hz RPM 2610.

In above case also bearing capacity to withstand such high
rpm and current of the motor should be with in the name
plate limits.

VFD can be vary upto 80hz but we need to set the limits
into parameter settings.
