clarify whether the relation gets altered due to WATER-
CEMENT ratio?

The relation between the strength of concrete at lower age
and 28 day depends on may factors like chemical
composition,fineness of cement and temparature of curing.
Mixes with lower water cement ratio's gains early
strength's more rapidly than that of concrete with higher
water cement ratio's.Because of arrangement of cement
particles more closer in lower water cement ratio's and
formation of continous gel which gives more strength.
In general the 7 day strength is not less than 65% of 28
day strength

The 7 days strength is help you to deshutter the shuttering for slab or beam. According to 7 days results we able co-relate the strength we will achieve the strength at 28 days. The lower W/C higher the strength.
