How to test Power Transfomer vector group?
Answer / sharif shaik
Vector Group Depends on the type of windings in Primary & Secondary of Transformer.
Let take one transformer example
Primary Winding is "Delta" (D)
Secondary Winding is " Star" (S)
Phase angle between two transformers is lag 30 degrees
Therefore : Vector group = DSn11
Where n= Neutral
11 = For 30 Degrees constant value
