When Diesel generator overload its freqency reduce fron set
value ,so RPM of dg decrease as result .Fuel governer
direct control the speed of engine .when sensor actuate it
stop the engine.

Even diesel gen cannot hold the over load when it reaches
perticular load it tripps for safety purpose

its because it reaches past its steady state stability
limit, delta 2, so it will swing out into trip.
