Reasons Behind :
1. Loose Connection
2. Three phase cut into two phase
3. Winding Failure
4. Mechanical Damage/Overlaod
5. Higher Voltage/Frequency
If its so ,Breaker should get trip. If not it will damage
the motor.

Answer / pillay
that means the motor is finding it harder to maintain
the speed. it could be due to so many reasons as already said
by DASS and VENKAT.
What happens is if any of the motor protective devices dont
trigger the motor to stop than it will continue to run
until the windings give way due to overheat and finally insulation breakdown which is commonly known as burnt.

Answer / gagan kumptar gua
when a motor take high current the wiring of the winding
will be burnt becouse H is proposnal to square of
current.it happens due to loose connection or over load and
change in frequency of voltage.
