pahsor has 2 types...
1.scalar phasor
a quantity that conatin both amplitude and phase
information.
2.vector phasor
a quantity that contain magnitude, direction and phase
information.
both types of phasor are independent of time.
Vector:
A quantity that contain magnitude and direction only...It
has no phase...
Vectors are dependent on time.

I am an American living in Vietnam and I have recently gotten a refrigerator from Japan and it is rated for 100 vac, but the power here is 220 so I bought a voltage stabilizer it has a 1 kva output rating. Can you please tell me what the amperage is? I'm confused and without a working fridge.
Weather power factor correction needed for synchronous motors?
need to make a report. Need to choose a 3phase induction motor. Load conditions motor will operate in : Maximum Load: 30 Kw Speed: 2950 rpm Ambient temp: 20 cent Supply voltage: 440V Frequency: 50Hz need to look for the safety factor when choosing the motor, went through catalouge found a few, but dont know how to choose the safety factor allowing an extra load something above 30 KW to avoid any harm.
