to remove static electricity. if static charges are there,
they can create small chrrents those may cause samll arc.
because of which firing may happen.

As we know all flouids while it is moving through pipes
create a static charges and to prevent the arcing which may
happen between Guns and any object (Low Potential
Body).Further more ,the person how is filling Petrol may
has static charges in his boady ,so via this earthing
system his body will be discharged safely.
