Check if the DG is starting . If not check ur AMF panel and
the corresponding relay

manual mode- 1.battery terminal or its cable demaged.
2. low volt in battery.3. self motor problem.
4.fuel block.
auto mode- 1.EB power failure comand not going to dg
control panel. 2. DG CONTROL panel not reset.

this is fully interlock system so this is not working in eb
power dg is not starting

if the DG is in auto mode
1)Signal may be not reaching the DG from main panel.
2)Battery may not have enough charge to crank the DG.
3)Shortage of fule in DG or flow of fule to th DG may have
problem.
4)In case of more no of DG controle wiring may have problem.
5)synchronization off DG may have problem.
6)phase sequence may have problem.

then dg will not start

For DG or Transformer body earthing, is it necessary to terminate the earth bus to earth pit directly? If not terminated to earth pit directly in earth pit and connected to any common bus strip which ultimately connects to earth pit, what will be the pros and cons?
