why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / veeramani

Oscillators are connected externaly with the
microcontroller to provides high frequency signal to the
oscillator circuit in the microcontroller. The oscillator
circuit provides the clock signal to the microcontroller.
that's it.

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / nitya

in MC all operations are processed upon trailing or leading
edges.because MC has several parts. Each parts are
constructed using Flip-Flop which needs clock for
triggering.

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / ramakrishna

The main purpose of the oscillator in PICmicro
microcontrollers,
or almost any other microcontroller, is to
provide a reliable clock for the controller processes. At
the most basic level, the clock provides a timing interval
to account for circuit rise times and to allow data to
stabilize before that data is processed. This is a
"synchronous" process. The clock also provides an
opportunity for the programmer to perform time keeping
of several types. In the PICmicro, the clock also drives
hardware dedicated to timekeeping. The applications
may include keeping “real time”, or timing sensitive
processes
such as serial data communication. The accuracy
of these timing applications is dependent upon the
accuracy of the clock oscillator

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / 9739866909

Oscillators are connected externaly with the
microcontroller to provides high frequency signal to the
oscillator circuit in the micro controller. The oscillator
circuit provides the clock signal to the micro controller.
usually "PIEZO CRYSTAL OSCILLATORS" are used in micro controllers.

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / chitti

its mainly used to control any process in micro second ,so
clock timer is very important without waiting for input
from any source.oscillator produces the output even without
any input signal and give high freq at initial input for
processor.

Is This Answer Correct ?    10 Yes 3 No

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / sivaraman

Main purpose of oscillator is to generate pulse which is
used to synchronize all the circuit(ADC,TIMER etc) in
microcontroller. without pulse, the instructions will not
execute. tats it

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / waseem latif

To provide signals of desired frequency to the Microcontroller

Is This Answer Correct ?    2 Yes 0 No

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / nishanthi

For the frequency of operation of a microcontroller

why oscillators are used in micro controllers?..

Answer / jigneshkumar ajani

every mc require the frequency, without freq it will not
work so here we can use the crytal where freq. is devived
by 2 e.g. 24/2= 12 so we got that 12 voltage for mc.... and
operate difernt parts of mc.......

Is This Answer Correct ?    3 Yes 6 No

Guys I am in DILEMMA.. plz HELP!!! Guys, I am engineering graduate in ECE from Banglore(VTU). I am working as Tech support engr, in one of the mnc. Now I am worrying about my future, like should I continue in this (fedup with night shipts) or shall I do other domain courses (like software testing, SAP, JAVA )(?). If I do CCNA then is it gonna help me with the tech support engr and in future(?){if I get handsome bucks after doing the CCNA, then I can continue with the night shipts and tech support} But I dont know if it is going to happen(please suggest). Is the technical support will join to the Network engineer post in future(any way)? Will the pay become as like software in future? Please help!!!! Thank you
